The website may receive information you enter into its forms. This may include your first name and email address when joining the Activator List, as well as an optional name, written testimony, audio file, or video file when sharing a testimony.

Please share only information you are comfortable providing. Testimonies can contain personal information, so consider the privacy of other people before including details about them.

Information may be used to respond to requests, manage the Activator List when that service is connected, review testimony submissions, maintain site security and reliability, and provide the experiences offered through the website.

The current Activator List form is not yet connected to an outside email provider. If a provider is added later, this policy should be updated to reflect that service.

Submitted testimonies are placed into a private pending-review workflow. Submission does not cause a testimony to appear publicly. Testimony Over Gossip decides whether a submission is appropriate for any later public use and may contact a contributor before publication when contact information is available.

Submitting a testimony does not guarantee that it will be published.

The site uses a PHP session cookie to support essential site behavior and browser storage to remember whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner. The site also loads certain fonts and interface resources from third-party content-delivery services, which receive ordinary technical request information when your browser requests those files.

Reasonable safeguards are used to keep pending testimony records and uploads outside public-facing upload locations. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Information should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was provided, site operations, or applicable obligations. Formal retention periods have not yet been established.

The website may support purchases in the future. Before payment features are introduced, this policy should be updated to explain what purchase information is collected and which payment services process it. The current development website does not provide checkout.

You may decline the optional cookie preference presented by the banner. You may also email Testimony Over Gossip to ask about information you submitted or request a correction or deletion. A request may need to be verified before action is taken.

This policy may be revised as the website and its services change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
